Our clients are the dogs that we take care of. The humans at Challenge Accepted work intimately with our clients to provide care that is as unique and special as they are. At the very heart of everything we do is aimed at keeping dogs with families that love them and take care of them. Our business practices mitigate dogs being rehomed or surrendered to a shelter.
Challenge Accepted believes in sustainability in all aspects- resources, time, and energy and we will always do our best to put in place processes that support saving these three for our clients, ourselves, and our planet.
Our goal is to host those that are a good fit for the environment we have created. We attract pet parents who have or want to have strong bonds with their dogs and make Challenge Accepted a member of their dog’s family.
We work with dogs that may not fit the ideal standard for other dog day care and boarding centers, we like to think of them as the “underdogs”. And we’ll meet our clients where they are emotionally through compassion and common sense. We use training methods that are humane, and science based, taking advantage of a dog’s natural inclination to please as well as their drive and motivation to receive rewards for a job well done. We firmly believe that there are no bad dogs and that dogs should be treated at least as well as people.
All of this carries over to the way we treat our team members, customers, business partners, vendors, and the entire network of people that we encounter through our products and services. We purposely seek out new and progressive ideas and challenge the status quo by hiring humans that believe in our mission and cultivate our culture.
